The Center for Active Living Everyone is welcome at The Center for Active Living. We used to be the Senior Center of West Seattle.

We are a vibrant social gathering place for our community where people can find friendship, healthy activities and meaningful engagement as they age. We support the physical, mental and emotional health of our community's seniors through a wide range of fun activities, programs and events. The Senior Center is also a gateway to services that many of us need as we get older including meals, counseling and referrals to other critical social services.

Happening tomorrow: First Wednesday Board Games at The Center

Rediscover your favorite classic board games or find a new one to love at The Center’s casual, drop-in board game time at Margie’s Café.

This month we'll have Monica Colgan, Tournament Director for the Puget Sound Backgammon Club, on hand to offer free backgammon lessons as well as just play with anyone who would like to improve their strategy.

Enjoy a relaxed late afternoon of casual play, community and beverages at The Center!

Join us at Loop the 'Lupe!

The Center for Active Living is participating in the Silver Saunter, a quarter-mile walk that’s part of West Seattle’s famous Loop the ‘Lupe event on Saturday, June 6.

The Silver Saunter will be a quarter-mile flat loop made especially for people ages 65+ (no ID checks—just good vibes!). You’ll have 20 minutes to rack up as many laps as you can. The more you walk, the bigger your bragging rights! Special prizes await the top finishers.
