Seems like all businesses are asking for reviews. Would you like to know more about those reviews? The Wallingford Chamber of Commerce is hosting lunch on Thursday, July 19th at Tutta Bella and we will have a presentation about reviews.

A 2017 Bright Local study found that 97% of consumers read online reviews for local businesses. We live in a world where average star rating is the most important factor consumers look at when judging a local business on review sites. How can your business rise above the competition if you don’t have a perfect five-star rating today? It takes adopting a five-star state of mind – understanding how consumers use reviews, setting goals for customer service excellence, developing a strategy for dealing with customer feedback, and organically growing reviews. Your customers are already talking about your business online and shaping your reputation, whether you’re listening or not.

Last Thursday, the Blue Star Cafe & Pub hosted the Wallingford Chamber breakfast. We enjoyed a good breakfast.
The Blue Star has always been a great host for Chamber breakfasts.
If you know of another good breakfast location in Wallingford the Chamber could have another breakfast, please share.

Breakfast Eltana Bagels with Conner of Knotis.
Eltana offers a great variety of bagels along with coffee and tea with great place to have a meeting.
The Knotis application is a great new game for all of our Chamber members and many of the other businesses to be involved with. This is a great revenue source for the local businesses that will provide great savings and fun to their customers.
