🎉 From the Bottom Up Drive Drop-offs ARE HAPPENING!🎉

Huge thanks to Lindsay Kanetomi Little and Peter Kirk Elementary School PTSA for braving the torrential rains and wild Seattle weather yesterday to deliver more than 3,800 diapers and 170 packs of wipes!

Rain or shine, we can *always* count on our community!

Because of you, over 100 children now have the hygiene essentials they need.

This past week, our community showed up in a big way, donating much-needed hygiene items to WestSide Baby.

Thanks to your generosity, we will be able to fill the more than 100 individual hygiene orders we get each week, ensuring these critical items into the hands of children who need them most.

For 25 years, WestSide Baby’s community has shown up for families, helping us distribute more than 25 million diapers to children across our region since 2001.

From the Bottom Up, our annual spring diaper drive, kicks off today and runs through the end of the month. And, we are launching our 25th birthday year with a bold goal: raise $50,000 and collect 50,000 diapers in one month!

“Diapers may seem small, but when you can’t afford them, they are everything.” One in two families nationwide struggles to afford enough diapers, and here in King County, too many caregivers are forced to choose between diapers and food, rent, or utilities. No parent should have to make that choice.

Congrats to our Seahawks on the big Super Bowl win last night! A moment of a lifetime for the team and our region!

And even better? Some of our favorite Seahawks have another big event coming up soon: BABIES.

Several Seahawks wives – and some who’ve volunteered at WestSide Baby - are pregnant and due soon!

From Lombardi trophies to late-night feedings, we’re cheering for the whole Seahawks family. Big wins on the field, big LOVE off the field, and lots of diapers in the future! 💙💚🍼

💙 This Blue Friday before the Super Bowl, we're looking back at when the Seahawks community showed up for families in need! and stopped by with a carload of donations and competed to see who could pack more orders for local kids.

Word spread to the Hawks community, and we were so honored to have Julia and and bring in a crew for a day of volunteering! 💙

Now it’s our turn to support them! The 12s are with you all the way - let's bring home that trophy! GO HAWKS!!

Donna Pierce started WestSide Baby in 2001 because, she says, “I was one stressed-out, freaked-out new mom, even though I didn’t have to worry about having enough money to feed, clothe, and diaper my babies. I couldn’t stand imagining the level of stress felt by new parents with low incomes, no incomes, no healthcare, or no home. WestSide Baby had to be born.”

WestSide Baby has served over 40,000 children in King County this year alone - distributing diapers, car seats, cribs, clothing, and more. In parternship with our community, it is our mission to provide the basic essentials needed to keep children safe, warm and dry.

If you are seeking services for your family or children, please reach out to your local food bank, 211 in King County, or your local community resource center. WestSide Baby distributes items through 114 social service agencies but does not distribute items to families directly through our doors.
