𝗢𝗗𝗢𝗧 𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗙𝗙𝗜𝗖 𝗔𝗟𝗘𝗥𝗧: 𝗗𝗮𝘆𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻 𝟭𝟬𝟭 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲

The Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) will be paving a section of Hwy 101 in Seaside on Monday and Tuesday, Sept. 14 and 15, from approximately 6 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day.

Work will take place between 12th and 16th avenues as crews repair wheel ruts, potholes, cracks and other damaged pavement.

Travelers should expect daytime lane closures, with traffic shifted into the center turn lane, along with congestion, possible backups and delays while work is underway. Crews and equipment will also be working close to traffic.

Drivers are advised to follow flagger directions, slow down and watch for crews and equipment in the work zone.

SEASIDE, Ore. – Sept. 6, 2026 – Seaside Police, Seaside Fire & Rescue, and mutual-aid responders from neighboring agencies responded to an incident in Seaside Sunday evening.

The scene is secure, and there is no known ongoing threat to the public.

The City of Seaside conducts a monthly test of the Tsunami Warning System at 11 a.m. on the first Wednesday of each month (except June, July, August). Consider using this monthly reminder as an opportunity to prepare your emergency "Go Bag" and think about evacuation routes you would take depending on the locations in which you spend the most time.

Public Works completed work on the Spruce Drive repairs earlier than scheduled. Therefore, there will be no work or traffic impacts on Friday, August 28.

ORIGINAL NOTICE: Spruce Drive Repairs

Public Works crews will be completing repairs on Spruce Drive near South Wahanna this week, with temporary traffic impacts in the immediate area.

Work is currently scheduled for:

* Wednesday, August 26 from 8 a.m. to approximately 3 p.m.
* Friday, August 28 from 7 a.m. to approximately 1 p.m.

Drivers traveling through the area should follow all posted signs and traffic directions and use caution around crews and equipment.

This work was coordinated to be completed before the start of school next week, helping reduce impacts to school traffic.

Beginning Sunday, Aug. 2 at 7 p.m., crews will inlay pave U.S. 26 between the overhead truss bridge and the Lindsey Creek Bridge (Milepost 0.5 through 5.85). Travelers should expect nighttime lane closures and delays on U.S. 26 south of Seaside while crews repair the pavement.

Work is scheduled Sunday through Thursday nights from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. and is expected to continue through Aug. 18.
