Join for Participation and Updates! The Leslie Park Neighborhood has been part of Upper Seaside, CA for almost 1/2 a century! Most of the homes were built in the 1970's and 1980's so many of the neighbors are long term residents of Seaside whom enjoy the natural beauty, sunny weather and views of the Pacific within the Monterrey Bay Peninsula. Recently, there have been some concerning events inclu
ding car break in's, trespassing and loitering on both public and private property, unsafe behaviors at the school playground, and a drive by shooting the summer of 2016. Therefore, we are formalizing what has been already in place informally for years. Neighbors have met and have started to organize and agree our top priorities for the remainder of 2017 are:
1. Working with the Seaside Police Department to include our neighborhood as the 12th neighborhood in the City's neighborhood watch program

2. Using this page as well as phone trees, texting, and the Next Door Ap to share any suspicious or concerning neighborhood activity.
3. Ensuring neighbors are informed and have important phone numbers and other contact information to report concerns.
4. Hopefully a fun mixer in 2018 :-)
We are a community group of proactive, concerned and involved Neighborhood Watch residents near Leslie Park & MLK Elementary School in Seaside CA. It's our intention to provide greater neighborhood awareness, connection and communication with this page.
