39 volunteer hours put into the show in September alone!!! Decorating the Mid-Atlantic Services A-Team Corp offices, fence areas, our Santa stop area, and this past weekend we spent time decorating donated wreaths that we gave a new life to.

Shout out to JB Crunch for another generous donation of candy canes for our 2026 season!

We are so grateful for our candy canes sponsors who make it possible to hand out full size candy canes to each guest that comes through!!!

We are expecting 11,000 guests this year, that’s a lot of candy canes we need to round up. But JB Crunch has given us a great head start!

Some have suggested we don’t need to work each year at getting candy canes, but we feel strongly it is a small but meaningful addition to our show!

Today our team worked for most of the day installing lights on fencing, our boardwalk, and ground coverings. Gave us a chance to pull out our power tools!! 🔨 💡 🎄

Many thanks to Bill Mich and family for donating a lot of new items for Merry Lane include the beautiful wreaths you see hung from our new fencing in the back of the lane. It’s a beautiful addition!

Many thanks to our team members and friends Beth and Reed Charnick, Addison, Heather Hosler, and Beth Barczak for spending the last two weekends spreading the magic on Merry Lane!

Always so grateful for all the time our volunteers give, all the donations from our local community, and all the support year round! What we do is not possible, or at least not as meaningful, without this. ♥️ 🎄

Throughout the year, we often take special care and time to repair decorations that mean a lot to us. And if you were not aware, there are a lot of decorations that mean a lot to us in Merry Lane. 🌲

We have several Chirping Bird style Ornaments inherited from Cut'em Up Tree Care of Delaware. These are typically hung from a tree at the front corporate office of Mid-Atlantic Services A-Team Corp, the entrance of Merry Lane.

This year we had a set that stopped working, and all it took was a few new strands of lights and some zip ties to rescue and looking beautiful!

It always makes us happy when we give new life into our decorations, sometimes it’s just a few more lights or maybe a fresh coat paint and they are ready for the show.
