As a black Republican - more importantly as a man, Colin Powell set the bar. He was a statesman, decorated military general and man of God who will be missed dearly. May God bless the family and we pray that heaven smiles brightly upon Secretary Powell.

A former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, secretary of state and national security adviser, Mr. Powell died on Monday, his family said.
