The Lackawanna County Department of Economic Development on Tuesday received a Best Practices Award for its Eviction Assistance Program from the Pennsylvania Association of Housing & Redevelopment Agencies. Floriana and Salvatore Adragna, owners of the new restaurant Spin And Savory, received a $5,000 Business Improvement Grant from Lackawanna County. Spin and Savory, located at 341 N. Washington Ave., Scranton, features sweet and savory pinwheels for breakfast and lunch and a variety of Detroit-style, deep-dish pizza. The restaurant is open Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The grant will cover expenses they incurred to outfit and open the restaurant.
