An annual tradition brings local students together with first responders in a unique way by serving them lunch. The goal is to thank local hometown heroes for the sacrifices they make every day and to honor the role they had in the aftermath of the September 11th attacks.

Today, our Culinary Arts students hosted the Annual First Responder Recognition Luncheon. This year’s event carried extra significance as we gathered to express our deepest gratitude to the brave men and women who keep our community safe, while marking the 25th anniversary of September 11th.

A special thank you to the Scranton Police Department and Scranton Fire Department for joining us today and letting us serve those who serve us every day.

🦅 Shout-out to Jeffrey Kucharski! 🦅

We would like to give a huge shout-out to Lakeland Jr./Sr. High School student Jeffrey Kucharski on earning the rank of Eagle Scout! This is an incredible accomplishment that reflects his dedication to Scouting, leadership, service, and helping others.

Outside of Scouting, Jeffrey stays busy with BMX racing, chess, music, HVAC studies, work, and volunteering—including giving back to our community and supporting local veterans.

We are so proud of all that Jeffrey has accomplished and the hard work he has put into becoming an Eagle Scout!

Congratulations, Jeffrey! Keep making us proud and representing our Tribe! ❤️💙🦅
