🏈🏆The Lackawanna County Commissioners’ Youth Sports Initiative will host author and coach Pete Cordelli for "Making the Grade," a seminar for players, parents, coaches and advisors on Thursday, June 18, from 6 to 8 p.m. at University of Scranton's Brennan Hall.
Position-specific topics covered include:
🎓 Academic eligibility
📚 Scholarships
💰 NIL agreements
Cordelli, former quarterback/wide receiver coach with Lou Holtz at North Carolina State, University of Arkansas, University of Minnesota and University of Notre Dame, will be keynote speaker. While at Notre Dame, Cordelli coached 1987 Heisman Trophy winner Tim Brown and 1990 Heisman Trophy runner-up Rocket Ismail.
