Visit Santa at a National Park this Christmas.

The North Pole Limited is more than a train ride. It’s a whole holiday afternoon at Steamtown National Historic Site in Scranton.

Start in the museum, all lit up for the season. Write a letter to Santa, get your Naughty or Nice pin, visit a gingerbread village, play some games, and pose at the photo backdrops.

Then climb aboard for an hour-long ride behind a real steam locomotive that’s nearly 100 years old. Carols fill the warm, heated coaches. Santa stops at every seat, and Mrs. Claus has a gift for every child.

Finish with hot cocoa and cookies back at the station.

The North Pole Limited is the biggest fundraiser of the year for the Iron Horse Society, the nonprofit partner of Steamtown. Every ticket helps keep the trains running at our national park.
