The City of Scranton is now accepting sealed bids for Janitorial Services and Mowing Services. The deadline is March 31, 2025, and the City Council will open the bids at the City Council meeting on April 1, 2025.

The maintenance department is testing the fire hydrants around town today. You may notice that your water is slightly discolored, this will only last for a short time.

The City Clerk’s Office will be closed on Monday, February 17, 2025, in observance of Presidents’ Day. Since the 15th falls on a weekend and Monday is a holiday, utility bills will not be considered late until 5 PM on February 18, 2025.
