🇺🇸 Remember. Honor. Never Forget. 🇺🇸
The Scottsville Fire Department would like to sincerely thank Past Chief John Ellis and the Livonia Fire Department for graciously inviting us to be part of their 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony this morning.
There are days that remind us why we put on the uniform. Today was one of them.
It was truly moving to stand alongside members of the public, law enforcement, fire departments, and EMS as we came together as one community to remember the 2,977 lives lost on September 11, 2001, and to honor the countless first responders who ran toward danger while others were running away.
Twenty-five years later, the memories remain, the sacrifices are still felt, and the importance of never forgetting has never changed.
We are honored to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with our fellow first responders and our community to remember those who never made it home, those who gave everything that day, and those who continue to carry their memory forward.
We remember their lives.
We honor their sacrifice.
We will never forget. 🇺🇸🚒❤️🩹
