We are emergency 911 dispatchers employed through the City of Scottsville. We dispatch for the Scottsville Police Department, Allen County Sheriff's Department, Allen County Ambulance Service, and all Fire Departments in Allen County and Scottsville as well as the Rescue Squad and Coroners. Each dispatcher is required to attend a 4 week academy in order to gain certification. The academy is locate

d in Richmond, KY at the Department of Criminal Justice Training Facility. Continuing education courses are also required every year to not only keep our certification, but also to stay up-to-date on all current practices and further our education within our career.
