The Scottsdale Unified School District Governing Board has unanimously approved a resolution calling for a $375 million special bond election on November 3, 2026.

Attend a Community Informational Town Hall on Tuesday, Sept. 15, at Desert Mountain High School from 6-7 p.m. to learn about the proposed investments.

The proposed bond program includes investments in:

• Learning Environment Improvements
• Technology Enhancements
• Site Lifecycle Renovations
• School Safety & Security
• Transportation
• Administrative Capital Improvements

*Bond funds may only be used for voter-approved capital projects and cannot be used for teacher salaries, employee benefits, or day-to-day operating expenses.

IMPORTANT DATES:

• Voter Registration Deadline: October 5, 2026
• Election Day: November 3, 2026

🎉On Monday we posted a hightlight reel of our Mountain Lions at the SUSD sports festival playing baseball⚾ against other SUSD schools. This festival allowed coaches to see everyone try hard & play their best. Now it´s time to see highlights of our Mountain Lions playing volleyball! 🏐 The first official games for both Volleyball and Baseball are on Monday, September 10th! MARK YOUR CALENDARS! ! Go DCMS!

🎉DCMS students were at a festival playing volleyball🏐 and baseball⚾ against other SUSD schools this past Saturday. This was a great chance for students to show to their coaches how amazing they are at sports and how much they want to play this season. Coaches were thrilled to see how hard players were playing! It’s the best opportunity for highly gifted students to learn & grow at their own pace. 🎓 Mr. Leinonen’s science class working on a warm up question about fossils, and students are working together and having fun! 🦕 Even his turtle, Phil Swift, is having a good time ! 🐢😀
