Scottsburg High School Scottsburg High School is a unique campus that is built on the college model. Feel free to explore all of the options for your child's future at SHS!

We have two main courses of study that are based on the learning styles of your child! Each course of study has different paths within each based upon your child's interests and goals. High Schools That Work is an innovative, technology rich model that is based on the 10 Key Practices of the Southern Regional Education Board. These best practices encourage and inspire students by combining individ

ualized and group work settings. New Tech High School is an innovative, technology rich model that utilizes a team based approach in educating its students. It is a Project-Based Learning model that teaches the state standards by utilizing real world projects. SHS Students, regardless of the course of study that they choose, may participate in athletics, band, choir and clubs! SHS Students have the opportunity to earn more than 25 college credits from SHS Partner institutions such as Ivy Tech Community College, Purdue University and Vincennes University. All SHS students have begun the move to a 21st Century Learning environment that features teacher-developed curriculum, cloud-based instruction and the beginnings of a virtual school.

🧘🏼‍♂️ Personal Fitness and Wellness focuses on personal growth and overall wellness of self. Learning about nutrition and incorporating yoga, pilates, circuit training, and walking for body movement are key parts of personal wellness.

🏋🏼‍♀️Strength and Conditioning targets personal growth through strength training. Building and toning muscles to meet individual goals.
