One of the sweetest parts of the CAC is watching the kids get excited to pick out a snack or make their own cup of hot chocolate with all the fun toppings!

Sometimes it's the little things that help a child feel comfortable!

At the Children’s Advocacy Center, we know we may not be able to change everything a child has been through, but we can help change what comes next.

We can provide a safe place to talk.🏡
We can listen.👂🏽
We can offer support and healing.❤️‍🩹
We can remind children that they are not alone🤝.

And when one child leaves feeling a little more hopeful, that is what makes every moment worth it. 🦋💙

Paper ballots will be available in print editions of the Jackson County Sentinel on Wednesday, Aug. 26; Saturday, Aug. 29; Wednesday, Sept. 2 and Saturday, Sept. 5. Submit a paper ballot and be entered for a chance to win $50. Winner will be drawn at random on Saturday, Sept. 25.

Thank you to Dus Rogers and Lil Noble from MOAA for stopping by the CAC and allowing us to share the CAC model and how we keep our process child-centered. We loved showing how our multi-disciplinary team works together so children only have to tell their story one time, helping make an incredibly difficult experience a little easier for them.

We are so grateful to MOAA for the generous donation! Community support is what allows us to continue providing our services free of charge to children and families.
