This Memorial Day, we pause to remember and honor the heroes who gave their lives in service to our nation. Their sacrifice is the foundation of the freedoms we cherish every day.

We are forever grateful to the fallen service members and the families who continue to carry their memory and legacy.

As you spend time with family and friends today, please take a moment to reflect on the true meaning of Memorial Day.

From the Sheriff’s Office, we wish everyone a safe and meaningful Memorial Day. 🇺🇸

Yesterday marked Sheila’s final day with us, at the Jackson County Jail. Thankfully we were able to pull off a happy surprise retirement party with all her favorites.

Her solid, good-heart, and positive presence in our workplace will be greatly missed.

Congratulations on your retirement, Sheila!

We hope this next chapter is filled with love from your grandchildren, family and friends, plenty of relaxation, and all the happiness you deserve.

Thank you for your dedication, your kindness, and the genuine care you showed to your coworkers — many of whom you’ve built lasting friendships with.
