Northeast Alabama Community College has partnered with Thrive Regional Partnership to offer **FREE digital literacy classes** through the Tech Goes Home program. Participants will learn essential skills like email setup, internet navigation, computer basics, and online safety.

This program is funded through Thrive’s ARISE grant from the Appalachian Regional Commission to help expand digital access and workforce readiness in our region.

💻💻💻NACC Partners with Thrive Regional Partnership to Offer Free Digital Literacy Classes and Chromebooks

Northeast Alabama Community College (NACC) has partnered with Thrive Regional Partnership to provide free digital literacy classes through the Tech Goes Home program, helping community members build essential technology skills and gain access to a personal device.

Participants will complete 15 hours of instruction covering computer basics, Gmail setup, internet navigation, and online safety. Upon successful completion, each participant will receive a free Chromebook. The course is ideal for senior adults and individuals needing foundational computer skills. Space is limited to 12 participants.

The program is supported through Thrives ARISE grant from the Appalachian Regional Commission, expanding digital access and workforce readiness across the region.

Classes will be held at the NACC E-Center in Rainsville from March 30 through April 21, meeting Mondays and Tuesdays from 5:00–7:00 p.m.
