The Scottsboro DRA is thankful for Main Street Scottsboro’s efforts to beautify our city. The DRA was proud to help with funding toward irrigation and accessories for the hanging baskets. Together we can help improve our downtown!

The Scottsboro DRA is proud to announce it has awarded $2,200 in grant money to restaurants in the downtown area. Additional applications are pending and the deadline has been extended to May 31.
An updated application will be posted to the SDRA website on May 7. Please check back on the website or this page for updates to eligibility requirements on May 7.

Today is the deadline for the DRA Restaurant Grant. All qualified applicants must submit their completed applications to city hall by 4:30pm today. Applications may also be emailed to [email protected] by the deadline.

If funds remain available, the deadline will be extended to May 31 and qualifications may change. An updated post with deadline and changes will be made on the website and this page on May 7.

Downtown Scottsboro Restaurant Grant Opportunity Now Available!

Visit the Scottsboro Downtown Redevelopment Authority website to view eligibility requirements and a copy of the application. The deadline is Monday, April 27th by 4:30pm. Please share with any restaurant that is currently open in the Downtown Scottsboro area 1.5 miles from the square along Willow Street and Broad Street. A maximum of $5,000 will be awarded on April 28 to qualified applicants.

Please Note: The SDRA considered various eligibility requirements based on the limited amount of funds available and what would have the most impact on businesses still open and providing a necessary service to the community. The SDRA understands all businesses have been hurt by the shutdown due to COVID-19 and all need assistance. This is a small way the SDRA can help by giving back to the community. If additional funds become available or eligibility requirements change in May those changes will be posted here and on the website.
