57 Years as your fire department. The fire department grew out of a plan originally developed by Mayor Gordon Turner in 1969 to give our city some sort of fire protection.

The Scotts Hill Fire Department serves the residents and visitors of the Tiwn of Scotts Hill along with the unincorporated area around Scotts Hill.. We run automatic aid in Henderson and Decatur County outside city limits as well.

Members gain knowledge in fire prevention and protection and life-saving skills. We perform training at least monthly.

We welcome all people of good character. If you are not able or interested in being a Firefighter we also accept auxiliary members who serve the department and community in other ways. We are a family oriented department.
