Alot going on at Scott Fire&EMS today!

We had our annual hose and ladder test by Fire Catt

And our first new extrication tool was installed by Citizens First Fire Training in our first out ambulance to make our department more versatile on incidents!

🚧 ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE – ANNUAL HOSE TESTING 🚧

Please be advised that portions of Grant St, Sheridan St, and the connecting alley/street between them shown in red on the map below will be closed tomorrow from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM for Scott Fire & EMS annual hose testing.

We ask all residents to avoid the area during testing and use alternate routes if possible.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we complete this important annual equipment testing to help keep our community protected.

Today, we put into service 16 new Kenwood MARCS radios for our department.

This was all made possible with a grant from the Ohio Fire Marshals Office, and donations from our local villages and townships. Thank you for your continued support as we serve our community.

This is not an easy accomplishment. It takes hours of training, dedication, and a willingness to push yourself when it’s not easy—and Kyle did exactly that.

We’re proud to have him serving our community and continuing to grow within Scott Fire & EMS.

Today, fire departments from across Paulding County gathered at the Paulding Training Facility for live fire training exercises, a crucial undertaking given the relative rarity of fires in our area. We are thankful to live in a community where fire departments collaborate effectively, fostering a valuable exchange of knowledge. Thank you to all individuals who contributed to the organization of this event and all the members that put in the work to help make our community safer!
