Scott City’s boys 4x400 relay team turned in a massive performance Friday night at the Lakin meet, running a 3:24.88 to move into the No. 1 spot in Class 3A by more than two seconds.

The standout relay squad of Kasten Wren, Martin Purma, Cooper Irvin, and Peyton Bergner continues to establish itself as one of the top groups in the state as postseason track approaches.

With a commanding lead atop the 3A rankings, Scott City is showing serious speed and momentum at the right time of the season.

Big night for both softball and baseball. Both sweeping Hugoton. Senior night at home for baseball and a huge grandslam by freshman Aaren Radke. Two more homers by the Lady Beavers on the road from Zeller and Suppes.

Yesterday, Mrs. Ratzlaff's Photo Imaging class took a field to the Lee Richardson Zoo ! It was a great way to showcase everything the students learned this semester.

We had a special guest come to our field trip and help the students with their photography skills. Thanks to Chris Kirkham () for joining us! Our students learned so much from him about how you can find beauty in small details, framing photos, and how you don't need expensive equipment to be creative. You have probably seen his videos on TikTok!

As we were getting ready to leave, one of the staff members was kind enough to let our students get up close and personal with a Lesser hedgehog tenrec! We learned that is looks like hedgehog, is called a hedgehog, but isn't actually related to hedgehogs.
