Last week, United States Air Force Academy cadets met with our commander, U.S. Air Force Gen. Randall Reed, to learn more about our global logistics mission and leadership opportunities across the Joint Force.

An Academy alum himself, Gen. Reed shared lessons from his own career and offered a firsthand look at what it means to lead on a global scale.

This week we celebrated U.S. Air Force Lt. Col Tyner Apt-Hill and her dedication to our mission and the nation. In the past two years, she has served as our branch chief for Strategic Plans, Policy, and Logistics and as the executive officer to our deputy commander.

For her steadfast leadership and ability to integrate the command’s interests, priorities, and capabilities she was awarded the Defense Meritorious Service Medal by our deputy commander, Lt. Gen. Jered Helwig.
