The 375th Contracting Squadron recently completed contingency contracting officer training, preparing more than 20 Airmen to operate in contested and deployed environments where mission success depends on decisive and informed decision making.

Certified and combat ready.

Designed to challenge Airmen under realistic combat conditions, the 34th Combat Training Squadron recently led the certification of Air Mobility Command’s first combat-ready Air Expeditionary Wing 2.0 during STORM FLAG 26-07.

The exercise tested the 19th Air Expeditionary Wing’s ability to project power and execute mission-essential tasks in a contested environment. Following a week of intense training alongside joint, interagency, and international partners, the wing successfully met certification requirements and was declared ready for combat operations.

The 22nd Air Refueling Wing and the 931st Air Refueling Wing recently conducted a Nuclear Operational Readiness Inspection at McConnell Air Force Base on every aspect associated with the readiness of the KC-46A Pegasus to support the nuclear mission.

“Our single most important priority is supporting the nuclear mission. Strategic deterrence is delivered through our air refueling capabilities," said Col. Joe Wall, 22nd ARW commander.
