One Team, One Mission!

At the 597th Transportation Brigade, our strength lies in our seamless civilian-military integration. During our recent Leaders Time Training, our Department of the Army civilians trained side-by-side with our uniformed Soldiers to master Army records management.

Veteran DA Civilian and IT Specialist Ron Taylor spearheaded the instruction, sharing his deep technical expertise to ensure the entire formation maintains absolute organizational accountability.

This shared training builds daily interoperability, ensuring that whether in uniform or civilian clothes, the Rapid Support team stands ready to deliver on time, every time, keeping our Arrows On Target! 🎯

This week, the 597th Transportation Brigade observed Teal Tuesday to reinforce our commitment to safe, cohesive work environments and to welcome Staff Sgt. Jerica Link as our new incoming SHARP SARC.

Staff Sgt. Link immediately put leadership into action, addressing the formation on modern security vulnerabilities like online harassment and digital footprint safety. She introduced a specialized SHARP resource brochure to give our Soldiers and families the tools they need to protect themselves in the digital age.

When we take care of our People, we strengthen our mission.

It takes a dedicated team to move the Army! 🤝⚓️

This week at the Port of Tacoma, the Soldiers and civilians of the 833d Transportation Battalion held their Rehearsal of Concept (ROC) Drill. By coming together to map out OP 26-1B(R) and KRF 18, this team is building the communication and cohesion necessary for total operational readiness.

For two and a half centuries, our nation has stood as a beacon of freedom. Here at ARTRANS, our Surface Warriors are proud to carry that legacy forward by projecting combat power and delivering for the Joint Force across the globe.

The Order of Saint Christopher recognizes a career of commitment and excellence. We are proud to announce that three of our most dedicated Transporters have been honored for their legacy of service.

CSM (Ret.) Kevin McKeller recently presented these prestigious awards, celebrating the immense impact of these individuals on our mission and the Transportation Corps.

Congratulations to:

Mr. Dennis White, who was inducted into the Ancient Order of Saint Christopher. This rare honor is reserved for those whose entire careers have embodied integrity, loyalty, and an unparalleled commitment to the Corps.

Ms. Maureen Wells and Ms. Lisa Hill, who were inducted into the Honorable Order of Saint Christopher for their outstanding achievements and significant contributions to our team.
