🎯 Surface Warrior Shoutout 🎯

We’re firing off a big shoutout to our Civilian Surface Warriors of the Week from MOTCO — the Department of the Army Civilian Police and Security Guard team from the “B” Mid‑shift:

This crew demonstrated exceptional vigilance and teamwork on the night of Nov. 22, when an intruder was spotted in the Tidal area of MOTCO. After identifying the individual, the team launched a coordinated response — including a foot pursuit — that led to the successful apprehension of the trespasser.

Throughout the incident, they communicated seamlessly, tracked and logged every detail, and ensured the Watch Commander had the information needed to keep MOTCO protected.

Their professionalism, quick action, and commitment to force protection and law enforcement reflect great credit on the Police and Security Department and the entire MOTCO mission.

We’re proud to spotlight Ms. Teoria Grinston for her outstanding contributions to our team and mission success.

Through her work with the Personnel Force Innovation program — which brings civilian professionals into military roles — and the Active Duty Operational Support program — which enables Reserve and Guard members to serve temporarily on active duty — Teoria has been a driving force in strengthening our workforce.

Her attention to detail and commitment to excellence ensured that actions were processed quickly and accurately. More importantly, her efforts helped the command address critical staffing gaps caused by retirements, limited active-duty availability, and other challenges.

Thanks to her dedication, our mission stayed on track and our people received the support they needed. She embodies the spirit of service and sets the standard for customer care.
