The Scotland Fire Department will be having a training for its members called man versus machine. We are looking for donations of old equipment that’s non working like Wood chippers, Snow Blowers,meat grinders, anything mechanical that could cause harm to someone. If you have some of these you are looking to get rid of, let us know what you have and we may be able to help you clean up your yard and also train to better serve the community. Tonight members of the SVFD participated in mayday and RIT drills at the North Windham training house under the direction of Captain Greg Licata (C-416). Tonight’s training is a good reminder of all the hard work and dedication the volunteers do to provide knowledge and preparation needed to protect the community.
