Montgomery County is currently in a winter storm watch. Snow is expected to begin falling in the early hours of Sunday until sometime late afternoon on Monday. Please take this storm seriously and utilize today and tomorrow to prepare.

• Charge phones and other devices
• Check batteries in your flashlights
• Fuel up generators in case of power outages
• Stock up at the grocery store

Our public works crews will be working hard to clear the roads as efficiently as possible but it is highly probable that driving conditions will be poor. Please DO NOT travel during the storm unless it is absolutely necessary. Keeping roads clear of traffic for plow trucks and emergency vehicles is a priority!

On Monday, December 1st at 2:00 PM, Constellation will conduct its semi-annual, full-volume test of the emergency warning sirens surrounding Limerick Clean Energy Center (formerly known as "Limerick Generating Station"). This is one of two semi-annual tests performed each year. There is no emergency or cause for concern.

The warning siren system consists of sirens located in the 10-mile radius around Limerick Clean Energy Center in Montgomery, Chester, and Berks Counties. In a real event, the sirens are not a signal to evacuate, but a warning to tune to a local Emergency Alert Broadcast television or radio station.
