Attention Schwenksville! *Another* snow storm is headed our way! Everyone did a great job staying off the roads for our last major snow storm. We kindly ask that we duplicate that for this storm! Please take time to prepare for the storm now so that the roadways can stay clear for emergencies and snow removal. Thank you!

The National Weather Service is forecasting 12-18 inches of snow for our area. As we prepare for the storm, we kindly ask all residents to help keep our community safe and moving.

Please be mindful to:
• Keep emergency routes, sidewalks, and fire hydrants clear
• please do not blow or push snow off your sidewalks back into streets that have already been plowed
• Be patient and considerate of neighbors, plow crews, and first responders

Snowstorms can be challenging, but they’re also a great reminder that we’re all in this together. A little extra care goes a long way in keeping Schwenksville safe and accessible for everyone.

Thank you for doing your part, helping one another, and staying safe. Stay warm!

On Monday, December 1st at 2:00 PM, Constellation will conduct its semi-annual, full-volume test of the emergency warning sirens surrounding Limerick Clean Energy Center (formerly known as "Limerick Generating Station"). This is one of two semi-annual tests performed each year. There is no emergency or cause for concern.

The warning siren system consists of sirens located in the 10-mile radius around Limerick Clean Energy Center in Montgomery, Chester, and Berks Counties. In a real event, the sirens are not a signal to evacuate, but a warning to tune to a local Emergency Alert Broadcast television or radio station.

Widespread storms will develop Thursday afternoon and continue through the night. Isolated wind damage is possible in the afternoon and early evening hours. We are becoming increasingly concerned about flash flooding potential with this activity, particularly across the Moderate Risk area.

Storm potential has increased for this afternoon with a potential for flash flooding.

Storm potential has increased for this afternoon with a potential for flash flooding.

⚠️⛈️ There is a Moderate Risk (3/4) of excessive rainfall leading to flash flooding beginning this afternoon into tonight. Numerous flash floods can be anticipated across portions of the region due to scattered thunderstorms producing heavy rainfall.

The Flood Watch was expanded to include a majority of our area (see comments for Flood Watch map). A few isolated severe thunderstorms with damaging winds are possible, but the main threat will be flash flooding of urbanized and poor drainage areas, small streams, and creeks.

There will be chances of showers and thunderstorms each day this week. Remain alert for changing weather conditions, and have a reliable, trustworthy source to receive warnings should they be issued. And remember, NEVER drive through flooded roads! Turn Around, Don't Drown.

See our latest briefing package for more details on these threats:https://www.weather.gov/media/phi/current_briefing.pdf

⚠️⛈️ Showers and scattered thunderstorms are forecast to develop across much of our area Monday afternoon and evening. Slow moving storms producing heavy rainfall could lead to flash flooding of urbanized and poor drainage areas, small creeks, and streams. An isolated severe thunderstorm with damaging wind cannot be ruled out, but this threat is low.

Beyond Monday's threat of flash flooding, another week of active and unsettled weather is expected with daily chances of showers and thunderstorms along with very warm and humid conditions.

As for today's weather, scattered showers and storms are forecast for portions of eastern PA and northeastern MD. Brief heavy downpours will be possible with any of these storms. Overall, similar conditions as Saturday.
