The Adventure Club took a field trip to Vlaie Pond on May 26 with the Schoharie County Youth Bureau. The students went kayaking and paddle boarding; every student on the trip caught at least one fish, if not more! The students learned about different fishing lures, boating safety, and we even ran into two past Schoharie students working for NYS as part of the Clean, Drain, Dry initiative. Students were able to learn the importance of cleaning boating gear to help stop the spread of invasive aquatic species!
