Municipal Consolidated Dispatch serves as the 9-1-1 Public Safety Answering Point for the Villages of Harwood Heights, Norridge, and Schiller Park, and they are now hiring! This joint venture began dispatching operations in September of 2017, serving a population of approximately 35,000 residents. ⚠️ Street Sweeping Schedule Update – Beginning April 13, 2026

To better coordinate with Tuesday garbage collection, the Village has updated our street sweeping schedule. Streets will still be swept the 2nd and 4th week of every month (April thru November). 🧹

Starting April 13, 2026:
• Even-numbered addresses: Street sweeping will take place on Mondays
• Odd-numbered addresses: Street sweeping will now take place on Wednesdays

Parking is restricted on these days from 8 AM until 4 PM. Please refer to posted signs on each side of the block for street sweeping information. 🚫

This adjustment improves the efficiency of our street sweeping operations and helps maintain clean streets throughout Schiller Park. ✅

The updated street sweeping dates are posted on the Village calendar and can also be viewed on the Village website. Free copies of the Village calendar are available at Village Hall.

The Schiller Park Police Department would like to congratulate Chief Mark DiCosola on 30-years of service! Chief DiCosola was hired on March 11th, 1996, as a patrol officer for the Village and has served faithfully for 30 years, rising up the ranks to Sergeant, Lieutenant, Commander, Deputy Chief, and now Chief.
