Yesterday, we completed our annual 9/11 Stair Challenge at Lake Central High School in remembrance of the day that shook our nation.

25 years feels like yesterday to many of us. We will never forget the sacrifices made by first responders and other heroes on September 11th, 2001.

We will always honor and reflect on this day. Now and forever 🇺🇸

🇺🇸 25 Years Later — We Will Never Forget🇺🇸

September 11, 2001 changed our nation forever.🇺🇸

Twenty-five years later, the memories of that day remain with us. We remember the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the courage and sacrifice of the first responders who ran toward danger when others were running away.🇺🇸

All of us at the Schererville Police Department will never forget. We honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice, those who answered the call, and the spirit of unity that brought our nation together in the days that followed.🇺🇸

25 years later. We remember. We honor. We will never forget.🇺🇸
