Thank you Broadview Federal Credit Union for your generous donation of $7,500! These funds will go directly toward our food security programs to ensure those who are vulnerable in Schenectady have access to fresh, healthy meals and ingredients.

Broadview has been a long-time champion of Bethesda House and we are filled with gratitude as they show up time and time again in support of our mission to provide compassionate services for the homeless and impoverished in our community.

On Tuesday, Alltown Fresh presented Bethesda House with a donation of $940.72 as a result of their Eat and Be Merry holiday fundraising campaign! Throughout the month of December, our local AllTown Fresh raised funds through donations and sandwich sales as part of their effort to combat hunger in the communities they reside in.

We are so grateful for this partnership and their commitment to Bethesda House's mission. These funds will go directly toward our food pantries and daily fresh meals for the homeless and impoverished in Schenectady.

At the link below, you can read about how AllTown Fresh came to be and their generations-long commitment to fresh, healthy food for all. Thank you, AllTown Fresh!

Happy New Year from Bethesda House! 🎉We've had such an incredible year of growth and community.

Here's a look back at some highlights from our three fundraising events this year! Bowling in May, Cheers! for Bethesda in August and our Annual Trivia Dinner in October. Oh, the fun we've had!

Thank you to each and every one of you who came out to support us and our mission of providing compassionate services to the homeless and impoverished in Schenectady. Your heartfelt support makes all the difference!

THANK YOU Eastern Parkway UMC for your generous gift of $10,000!

These funds are the seeds we needed to grow our Pathways to Success program, an integrative, holistic model of education and life skills for the chronically homeless, impoverished, and re-entry populations in Schenectady County. Modalities such as basic education, higher education, life skills, and job training in addition to more nuanced approaches such as grief and loss programming and creative outlets in art, music and play will address the diverse needs of these populations while promoting a sense of empowerment, self-sufficiency, and a pathway to long-term stability.

As always, Bethesda House seeks to approach each individual's needs as holistically as possible to successfully guide them toward safety and stabilization.

We are filled with gratitude for this long-term partnership. Together, we can create a better Schenectady for all.

We are so grateful to The Food Pantries for the Capital District for their partnership as we combat hunger in Schenectady. Bethesda House hosts two food pantries to ensure those in need have access to healthy, nutritious food options.

P.G. Wright Food Pantry, located in Northside Village is open to all residents of Schenectady County. Open the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month from 9am-11am in Building 11.

The pantry at our main building, at 834 State Street, is open the 2nd and 3rd Tuesday of each month from 9am-11am.

This message is a reminder of how important these pantries are to our community, especially this time of year.

A note on behalf of our Executive Director, Natasha Pernicka, to our pantry members. We are grateful for you!
