I will be co-hosting a Property Tax Appeal Seminar in Maine Township on September 16th from 5:30–7:00 PM at the Maine Township Town Hall, 1700 Ballard Rd, Park Ridge. Attendees can meet with analysts to ask questions and file an appeal, with a presentation beginning at 6:00 PM. Don’t forget to bring your property tax bill or PIN!

ICYMI: I'm glad to be partnering again with the Center of Concern to host a special event titled "The Growing Gap: Rising Costs and Community Needs," which will include an engaging panel discussion about the resources, strategies, and community partnership that can increase access to housing, food, healthcare, and transportation.
This event is free and open to the public and will take place on Monday, September 14, at the Des Plaines Theatre.

Doors open at 5:30pm and appetizers will be served during the networking hour, and the program will start at 6:30pm. We hope you can make it. To RSVP, visit centerofconcern.org/needs or call the Center of Concern at 847-823-0453.

Look at the bottom left corner of your bill for your exemptions.

If you’re missing an exemption, you may be able to claim it through the Certificate of Error process for tax years 2025, 2024, 2023, and 2022.

The annual "Free Rabies Vaccine and Microchip Clinic" is coming up and will be back at the Township of Schaumburg (1 Illinois Blvd, Hoffman Estates). This is a first-come, first-served event where the first 90 pets will receive free 1-year Rabies, Distemper, and FVRCP (for cats), and Microchips. Please mark Saturday, September 12 from 10am to 1pm on your calendars! We suggest you arrive early, before 10am, to have the best chance for getting this free service.

I was honored to join Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi at his press conference in the City of Des Plaines yesterday. The Congressman announced over $4 million in infrastructure projects throughout the Northwest Suburbs.
