Snowdrops are starting to bloom along the trails at Weinberg Nature Center. These tiny white flowers often appear even before the last of the snow is gone. Keep your eyes low on your next walk to spot them too 💠

Reptiles shed their skin, as most of us know. Sometimes, though they need help, especially when a stubborn piece of shed is stuck on top of their heads. We needed to help Drogon, our bearded dragon, shed a large piece on top of his head so we soaked a cotton ball in a great product called Shed Ease and he sported a cute hat for a while. 😁

What a wonderful inspiring afternoon we had on Saturday, despite typical April damp and gloom! Betsy Shank of Acorn Acres visited us at Weinberg Nature Center with her Animal Ambassadors, Snags the Squirrel and Elliott and Lily the Groundhogs. We learned how these native creatures are so valuable to our environment and so smart and CUTE as well. Thank you Betsy and friends, you brightened a rainy day for sure! 😍
