Join us on June 25 at 1:00 PM for a fascinating look at the life of Annie Edson Taylor, the first person to survive a trip over Niagara Falls in a barrel. Scarborough resident Dee Dee Wacksman will share the story of the "Queen of the Mist" and her remarkable feat, which captured the world's attention more than a century ago.

This program is free, but registration is required. Information about our upcoming Niagara Falls & Buffalo trip this October will also be available.

Congratulations to the Scarborough High School Class of 2026!🎓

A special shoutout to our graduating child care counselors, who have spent their high school years making a difference in the lives of so many younger Scarborough students. From helping with homework to leading games and activities, they’ve been positive role models and an important part of our program.

While we're sad to see them move on to their next adventures, we're incredibly proud of all they’ve accomplished and grateful they chose to spend part of their journey with us at SCS♥

Another great week with SCS Active Adults! We learned about skin cancer awareness from Optima Dermatology, the sponsor of this week's luncheon, visited the baby goats and donkeys at Sunflower Farm in Cumberland, and wrapped up the week with a scenic lunch at Dolphin Marina & Restaurant in Harpswell.

See what other adventures are on the horizon by visiting our website: www.scarboroughmaine.org.
