Here is a before and after thanks to the interns doing some extra community service this morning removing the weeds from the plaza at Island Pond.

Island Pond is one of the most beautiful community spaces in the Borough and the interns wanted to help keep it looking good but they drew the line at cleaning up after the geese.....

June kicks-off a very busy three month period in Downtown Sayre with a variety of events scheduled each week including the first of three Downtown Sayre Summer Splash events on June 26th. The June Summer Splash will include local food vendors, downtown restaurant specials, live music featuring performances by Jenna Buck [5:30pm & 8:30pm] & the Uptown Music Collective [6:30pm] followed by fireworks at approximately 9:15pm
