is a 501c3 nonprofit that provides EMS education, training, and sponsorships to support local responders and strengthen emergency care across our Vermont communities. is a Private Non-Profit 501(c3) volunteer first response Emergency Medical Service (EMS) squad that responds to medical emergencies as part of the 911 system. We also offer non-emergency event coverage for our area. Our primary goal

is to stabilize a victim before an ambulance arrives and to assist the ambulance crew as necessary. Additionally, we offer multiple professional and civilian medical training courses, Please visit our training site for further information. We currently have six members certified from Emergency Medical Responders varying up to Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians. All of our personnel are trained and certified at a National Level. Our coverage area includes Saxtons River, Athens, and portions of greater Rockingham and Cambridgeport. Saxtons River Rescue is an Emergency Care and Safety Institute (ECSI) and American Heart Association (AHA) certified training center. We regularly hold educational classes for the general public such as First Aid and CPR. We also offer EMS training courses.
