Co 35 dispatched for Dwelling Fire at 891 Pincoht Rd, Liberty Twp. 35 Units responded from Six Mile Run station 36 as they were finishing up with a parade for their Community Days Event, Asst Chief 35-1 first arriving found heavy smoke in basement with homeowner and his dog outside, light smoke conditions throughout the house, Engine 35 first to arrived pulled crosslay to basement steps , Truck 35 positioned in driveway, crews found a small fire in basement that was extinguished with water can, Crews set up positive pressure fans in 1st floor and a negative pressure in basement to remove smoke. Homeowner had taken in some smoke so EMS did evaluation, he also said there were 2 cats still in the house so firefighters did quick search and found them to be hiding under beds but were fine. Bedford Co. 36 and 41, Huntingdon Co 17, 3 , Blair 80 & 60 , EMS 15 and Blair AMED were also dispatched on the call and some units were placed available before arriving on scene. Thanks to all that responded!
