Join us in celebrating Carolyn Butterfield on five years with United Way of Champaign County! 🎉💙

Since 2021, Carolyn has been an essential part of our team as the Manager of Community Impact Data & Operations. Among her many responsibilities, she leads our Bottom Line Diaper Bank, which supplies more than 13,000 diapers each month to families in need, and organizes our Project DASH Food Delivery program, which delivers food pantry boxes to the housebound, food-insecure neighbors. You might also see her painting one of our Born Learning Trails or distributing thousands of our Getting Ready for Kindergarten Calendars!

We’re so grateful for Carolyn’s dedication, creativity, and coordination of our vital community programs. Congratulations on five incredible years, Carolyn!

We are proud to partner with Spherion Champaign Illinois, in celebration of their 45th Anniversary, to raise funds for our Dolly Parton's Imagination Library program.

Dolly Parton's Imagination Library mails one free, age-appropriate book each month to children from birth through age five, delivered directly to their home at no cost to their family. Currently, we have 3,485 children enrolled from Champaign and Douglas counties.

Together, we can help put books into the hands of local children and foster a love of reading from the very beginning.

We’re proud of our longstanding union partnership and shared commitment to supporting workers as we continue to build a more resilient community.

Parade starts at 11am in Downtown Champaign at the round-about near Black Dog Champaign and ends at Planted on Neil St. The Labor Day Picnic will be at the Neil Street Plaza. We look forward to seeing you there!
