Good Morning Andrew County Aquatics supporters! As things are winding down at the pool, we wanted to get you all thinking about something.
This year was a huge success at the pool. The main reason is because of the people - the employees - who make our facility a good, fun, welcoming, highly available, well-kept place to be - one that offers good
culture and even better programming.
This year, with all of the expanded programming, there was a heavier need for leaders. All of our guards are excellent leaders, but many situations can benefit from having more participation from seasoned adults - adults who love recreation, love kids of all ages, enjoy mentoring, and value being a part of making our community great.
Are you a school teacher who has free summers? Are you retired and would like to be a part of sharing your gifts with the community? Are you a mom
with kids who spend their days at the pool? Perhaps you enjoy short employment projects without a year-long commitment?
We would love to explore folks interested in 2027 upper management, concessions management, teaching small group swim lessons, and/or working on staff scheduling. People with an eye for seeing ways to make us better - identifying opportunities for improvement - people with programming, event, or promotion ideas - people good at finding better ways to manage resources. People who love FUN.
If you would like to explore that, I would love to talk with you sometime to see if you might be a good fit at the SAC!
