Today, we remember and honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001.

Twenty-five years later, we continue to reflect on the courage, sacrifice, and resilience shown in the face of tragedy. We honor the victims, the survivors, the first responders, and all those forever impacted by that day.

Stand Down for Homelessness is back on September 9th, 9am to 1pm at White Bluff Methodist Church.

This is a full resource and job fair for anyone experiencing homelessness in our community. Free haircuts, clothing, health screenings, eye glasses, flu shots, vaccinations, care packages, and lunch, all in one place.

Free trolley pickup starts at 8am from several spots around Savannah, including right here at Union Mission (120 Fahm Street) and our Day Center. Drop off begins at 12pm. Other pickup locations include the Salvation Army, Old Savannah City Mission, Savannah Baptist Center, and Ellis, Reynolds, Franklin, and Johnson Squares.
