We took two of our Skidaway Island suspects into custody, but we're still looking for 18-year-old Jamari Timmons. He has an active arrest warrant for financial transaction card fraud, and we want to find him. He frequents the LaRoche Avenue area.
The Chatham County Police Department asked for the public’s help in identifying Timmons —whose identity was unknown at the time — and locating two other suspects on September 16, 2026. Tips from the public and other investigative information helped to identify Timmons.
Within a few days of the September 16, 2026, press release and social media post, the two other suspects were taken into custody by the Chatham County Police Department. Twenty-three-year-old Koronte Edwards and 22-year-old Jamaal Alija Green were both arrested and taken to the Chatham County Detention Center where they were booked on felony financial transaction card fraud charges. The charges stem from several incidents in the Skidaway Island area, and the investigation into those crimes remains active and ongoing.
Anyone who has information regarding Jamari Timmons’ whereabouts is asked to contact police. Anonymous tips can be sent through the Chatham County Police Department app, or you can also call Crime Stoppers at 912-234-2020, where tipsters are anonymous and may qualify for a cash reward.
The Chatham County Police Department is the lead investigative agency in this case, and any information from another source may not be accurate at this time.
