Reunification means a child returning home to their family when it is safe and in their best interest. But getting there takes time, support, and people willing to walk alongside them.

Tuesday was a special celebration for Brightside and our community! 🏠❤️💙

We officially celebrated The Bright House with a ribbon cutting and community open house, welcoming friends, supporters, partners, and community leaders to see the space and celebrate this exciting milestone with us.

A heartfelt thank you to our Board, Mayor Van Johnson and East Savannah United for joining us and helping make the day so meaningful.

And thank you to the Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce for providing the materials for our ribbon cutting and helping us mark the occasion!

We’re incredibly grateful for everyone who came through our doors and continues to support our mission of creating stronger families and brighter futures.

Our CASA team showed up, learned, connected, and brought home new ideas to better support the children we serve. 💙

This past weekend, our CASA Program Director, Coordinators, and dedicated CASA volunteers attended the Georgia CASA Conference alongside advocates from across the state.

We’re grateful for every opportunity to grow our knowledge, strengthen our advocacy, and continue showing up for children in foster care. Because every child deserves someone in their corner. 💙

For children in foster care, visits with their parents and loved ones can be an important part of staying connected and working toward reunification. The Bright House provides a safe, supportive space for those visits to happen.

Next Tuesday, we’re opening our doors so our community can see the space, learn more about the families we serve, and understand the role The Bright House plays in helping children and families stay connected.

At the Bright House, it can be where a parent and child share a conversation, play a game, laugh together, or simply enjoy time with one another.

The Bright House provides supervised visitation for children in foster care and their families, creating a safe and welcoming space where meaningful connections can continue.

But there’s something you may not know: The Bright House also serves families involved in family law cases, providing a neutral and supportive space for court-ordered supervised visitation.

Different circumstances. Different families. The same need for connection.
