Drum Roll Please!!!
Jeremy Norton works at the Garden City Records Center. He has been employed with the Clerk of Superior Court’s Office since December 2017 — nearly nine years.
His favorite foods are BBQ and sushi. His dream vacation is to take a family trip to Scotland and the Hebrides, specifically the Isle of Barra, from where his family originated.
An interesting detail that people might not know about him is that during his honeymoon in 2009, he won a karaoke contest on a cruise ship, allowing him to perform "Friends in Low Places" for an audience of 2,000 people at the end-of-cruise showcase.
Three words that describe Jeremy are loyal, unrelenting, and empathetic. His favorite quote is “Loyalty above all else except Honor."
A noteworthy fact about Jeremy is that he attended college on scholarships for cheerleading, fencing, lacrosse, and academics. He has always found inspiration in Leonardo DaVinci, who was an artist, engineer, and athlete.
His favorite songs include "Deadpool" and "Copperhead Road" by Steve Earle and his favorite book is "Dies the Fire" by S.M. Stirling, which is the story of a group of survivors who must rely on each other — and their antiquated skills and tools — when modern technology ceases to function.
The person who has had the biggest influence on his career is Larry Chisolm, who wrote him a letter of recommendation for college and advised him on preparing for law school. Mr. Chisholm hired Jeremy right after he earned his paralegal degree and entrusted him with significant responsibility early in his career, including reorganizing his filing system and managing various responsibilities. That trust and mentorship left a lasting impact on Jeremy and helped shape the professional he is today.
Congratulations Jeremy!!
