Historic achievement for NCMC Surgical Technology!

The Surgical Technology Class of 2026 achieved a 100% pass rate on the Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) exam—the first time in program history every graduate has earned certification on their first attempt. Even more impressive, all seven graduates have secured employment in the field.

North Central Missouri College and the Ketcham Community Center will be closed on Monday, May 25, in observance of Memorial Day. This closing includes all buildings and offices at all locations, and no classes will be held. NCMC will reopen on Tuesday, May 26.

Welding for Industry | Seats Still Available

There’s still time to enroll in NCMC’s Welding for Industry program—but spots are filling quickly.

This short-term training is designed for beginners and those looking to build new skills or advance in their current role. You’ll gain hands-on experience and earn industry-recognized credentials in just two weeks.

Program highlights:

Welding safety
OSHA 10 certification
Print reading
MIG (GMAW) welding
Applied practice time
Employer connections at program completion

Program details:
Location: NCMC Savannah Campus, 601 N US Highway 71, Savannah, MO
Dates: June 1–12, 2026
Time: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (Monday–Friday)
Cost: $1,795 (scholarships may be available)

Includes PPE, welding jacket, helmet, gloves, OSHA 10, and supplies.
