The 2026 Hardin County High School Homecoming Parade was a tremendous success! We are so thankful for the incredible support shown by our community as families, friends, alumni, and supporters lined the streets and sidewalks to celebrate and show their love for Hardin County High School.

That kind of community support is what makes Hardin County special! When our community comes together, we show our students, athletes, teachers, and staff just how much they mean to us. 💙

Building Knowledge. Strengthening Our Community.

The Savannah Police Department and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation recently had the opportunity to connect with students at Hardin County High School through an educational presentation on the importance of understanding current drug trends.

Savannah Police Department DTF Agent Ethan Lusk and TBI Agent Justin Barker spoke with Derrick Frazier’s Criminal Justice II class, providing students with valuable information about different types of drugs, emerging drug trends, and the potential physical, mental, and social effects associated with drug use.

Students were encouraged to engage with the officers, ask questions, and gain a better understanding of the challenges law enforcement and our communities face when it comes to substance abuse.

Opportunities like these allow our students to learn directly from professionals in the field while strengthening positive relationships between law enforcement, educators, and the community.

We appreciate Hardin County High School and Mr. Frazier for the opportunity to invest in our students through education, conversation, and community partnership.

Together, we can educate, prevent, and build a stronger community.

The Hardin County High School Homecoming Parade will take place today and will begin at 1:30 PM.

Please see the diagram below for information regarding scheduled road closures and the parade route. Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead and allow extra travel time, as traffic delays are expected in these areas.

We invite everyone to come out and line the streets and sidewalks to show your support for our Hardin County Tigers! 🐯💙

Today, the Savannah Police Department pauses to remember the heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice and the innocent lives lost on September 11, 2001.

We honor the brave first responders who ran toward danger to protect others, the civilians who lost their lives, and the families and communities forever changed by that tragic day.

Their courage, sacrifice, and service will never be forgotten.

The Savannah Police Department and the Tennessee Highway Patrol worked together to conduct a Seatbelt Checkpoint in our community.

These joint efforts are focused on promoting roadway safety, encouraging seatbelt use, and reminding motorists of the importance of making safe choices every time they get behind the wheel.

We appreciate the partnership between our local and state law enforcement agencies and, most importantly, the cooperation of our community. Working together, we can help make our roads safer for everyone.
