Constituted 5 July 1945 in the Army of the United States as the 4241st Quartermaster Service Company and activated in France Inactivated 31 October 1945 in France Redesignated 15 April 1947 as the 473d Quartermaster Service Company and allotted to the Organized Reserves Activated 1 May 1947 at Newark, New Jersey (Organized Reserves redesignated 25 March 1948 as the Organized Reserve Corps) Inactivated 12 July 1950 at Newark, New Jersey Redesignated 27 September 1951 as the 473d Quartermaster Subsistence Supply Company; concurrently withdrawn from the Organized Reserve Corps and allotted to the Regular Army Activated 3 November 1951 in Korea Redesignated 1 April 1954 as the 473d Quartermaster Company Inactivated 13 May 1955 in Korea Activated 17 August 1993 in Korea
