TED Democracy LIVE: Founding Futures at Our Library
This daylong symposium features 15+ brand-new TED Talks focused on the evolution and future of democracy, streaming live from Philadelphia during America’s 250th anniversary.
This landmark event convenes bold thinkers and civic leaders to share ideas and solutions designed to inform and inspire.
Through a collaboration with Visit Philadelphia and the American Library Association, and sponsored by The Pew Charitable Trusts, libraries across the country are hosting satellite livestream events — expanding access to these critical conversations and fostering local engagement nationwide.
For 250 years, American democracy has continued to evolve—shaped by how people participate, get information, and engage with each other.
On June 13, communities across the country will have a chance to experience those conversations together.
TED Democracy Live will bring ideas from Philadelphia to libraries nationwide—creating space to learn, reflect, and discuss what comes next.
